Interiors By George was established by Georgie Forlico in 2002 offering design consultancy services for public spaces, commercial, retail and residential projects. She brings into her design practice business skills from her formative career in marketing and creative expertise from further study in design and experience on a range of projects.

With 20 years in the industry Georgie has collaborated with a wide variety of master craftsmen & trades, gleamed a wealth of knowledge from associated professionals, engaged with architects and designers and made familiar friends from clients she has continued to work with project to project over this time.

Georgie loves people as much as she loves design - and it shows. She works to uncover the issues behind a particular problem within a space and designs a way forward which functions as desired, looks and feels great, and truly reflects what the client values.

Understanding budget is one of Georgie’s great strengths as she tackles large and small with equal enthusiasm. She works to create an ideal interior that suits the needs and budget of the client, curates with a combination of loved items, repurposed treasures and new finds to create a truly unique home.

With commercial projects Georgie’s expertise in both marketing and interior design allows full integration of interior fit-out, signage, and corporate collateral giving the client’s project a strong unique identity.

Georgie is a mother of four which gives her an understanding of the everyday challenges of family life, how it changes over time and how a thoughtfully designed and functioning home can impact on the wellbeing of every family member.

The success of Interiors by George is due to lasting relationships she has with clients, suppliers, builders & sub-contractors whom she can bring together on a project and push it to completion.
